ABOUT PAYMENT

We accept credit card payment (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners, JCB) and electronic payment by PayPal.

The “Self-learning course” cost USD1,000 net. The “Learning by Chapter” cost USD100 net per chapter.

Course includes an official textbook “NIHONSHU-NO-MOTOI The Textbook for INTERNATIONAL KIKISAKE-SHI” (in English) from SSI International and access to video learning content (Japanese dubbed with English subtitles) presented by certified lecturers from SSI International.
First attempt for the examination is also included in the course fee. However, if you fail the first attempt, you will be required to pay for the resit fee of USD350 net.

No, we do not accept payment in instalments.

ABOUT EXAMINATION

You are required to take the examination in person at a designated venue organised by Sake Education Academy. We will inform you the venue 2 weeks prior to the examination date .

No, there is no online examination offered for this course at the moment.

You will be required to sit through 3 examination papers in person, including a paper on sake tasting. Examinations are basically set according to the content of the textbook and videos, as well as the actual market conditions of sake from an international perspective.
A mixture of multiple-choice questions, short answer questions, open-end questions and sake tasting evaluation will be asked.
